Mock Interview

I had my Mock Interview on October 23th. However, I did not do it well. Actually, I think I was like a fool in there. When the interviewer asked me the first question, I was a little shocked, and I did not even know how to start. Also, the video camera in front of me made me uncomfortable. When the interviewer was asking me questions, I had already be aware that the ways I answered them were terrible. However, I did not know it was that bad until I wathced the video tape with the interviewer. The interviewer was a very nice lady, she patiently pointed out the mistakes I made and taught me how to fix them. I also noticed that I looked really funny in the video. The suit and tie on me looked weird, my face looked werid and my hair looked even worse. Although my Mock Interview was a very embrassing experience, I did learn a lot from it. In addition, in reminded me that it is time to take a haircut!

Did the woman say you looked funny or was that just your opinion? You liked fine when I saw you last. Remember looking at yourself is akin to listening to a tape of yourself--you are never the best judge! I have never been taped for an interview...I wonder what it would be like.

Hi Henry! Kelvin has your link on his blog so I thought I would check it out. Nice work!

I am glad that you found it to be a good learning experience. Even though it was uncomfortalbe, it is important that we all "stretch" our comfort zone a little every day. Do you agree ?
